@NRJensen @HollyBeans27 @Casey_03 @carmenstarlet Thanks to this post and replies, I was emboldened to ask my man directly in a calm and happy moment how, IF (when) in the future we find him in a panic attack, how would he best like me to respond. It opened up a really good conversation, and he felt loved by my even asking the question - which by itself helped with some of the "shame" aspect that he struggles with. We came up with an AGREED upon strategy - for when we're alone, or if we're in a public setting, even some other signs to watch for to help us get him OUT of a stressful situation so an attack isn't triggered ..
