Films For Human Behaviour

I like to watch films that show human behaviours. Some of the films show different attitudes, some show inner conflict and how it affect others. I find these very interesting and emotional.

Does anyone else feel this?

Some of my recent films have been:

12 angry men: twelve men jurors sit to decide the fate of a young man. Highlights different attitudes.

INK: Dream weavers and inner conflict.

Peaceful warrior: spiritual and awakening.

has anyone else got some new titles I might be interested in? :)

Many thanks and best wishes
Saffy :)

I like things like this too. There have been several things that come to mind as being memorable, but the one I thought of first was the Harvard University experiment about "selective attention" - a 5 minute or so video about basketball players and a gorilla walking through the group. (since we can't hot link, search Big Think, video, Missing the 200 Pound Gorilla in the room)

I liked Source Code very much. Maybe more about what we do for others vs what we do for ourselves. And what people might expect/ask from us.

Don't know if this falls into what you mean.

12 angry men is a great film.

Thank everyone.

I will look out for your suggestions.

I find it interesting to learn about human behaviour and how it affects others and ourselves, sometimes without knowing it.

I think that I had such a skewed idea of human behaviour because of my past, that learning about it has really helped me understand why and what others are doing and/or going through and thinking.

For me I always thought it was me who was not perfect and everyone else was. Their behaviour was misunderstood by me a lot because I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong.

learning about the behaviours of others has shown me that I am actually not the broken one in many cases, but they were just better at manipulation and hiding their flaws than I realised.

Another film I watched last night was Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind. I found this very good too.

Thanks for all your input guys, much appreciated.

Best wishes

One of my favorite movies is Field of Dreams. Specifically, it is because the marriage depicted actually seems to be a healthy one. And the friendship between the male characters is pretty interesting as it develops - and it is easy to get ahold of!

My favorite movie of all time is "Harvey" with Jimmy Stewart. I admire the heck out of Elwood P. Dowd.

My next favorite movie is "Second Hand Lions" - because it is such a lovely healing movie.

Ok, everyone is going to think I am totally weird now.:alien:

NOt at all Eleanor lol :)

I will look out for your suggestions too. I have seen Field of Dreams but not for a long time, so I will be interested in seeing what I get from the movie now.

Ill look for Harvey, Is that the invisible rabbit?

I've just ordered the magic of bell island. :) Thanks for the suggestion.

Very interesting YOutube films. There are loads of that sort of thing on there, did not realise. Thanks :)

I think I saw source code the other day on TV, I will check it out to see.

Watched the chronicles of Nania last night, very light and entertaining. :)

best wishes
Saffy :)

Harvey; yes the rabbit. It is brilliant. Dowd is such an excellent model of "presence." As is the "modern updated version" Elle Woods in "Legally Blond."

Enjoy Belle Isle. It is no often I watch a movie several times in the first two weeks... but that one... it just hooked me.

I'm going looking for Source Code - today is my movie day!
