First Panic Attack In A Long Time

This morning I had my first panic attack in two years and now I'm absolutely terrified. I've had two weeks off work for an infection and I'm supposed to go in for an 8 hour bar shift tonight but thinking about going in sent me into a horrible attack and now I'm left sitting on the kitchen step trying to work out if I should go to work or not. :/

Generally, I'd say go if you possibly can. I've found that the more I avoid, the more I want to avoid.

Is there anyone you can ask for support tonight? You can easily say something like "I'm still feeling a bit wobbly after being ill, can you keep an eye out for me if anyone gets loud and lairy?"

If you've had that horrible cold/flu bug that has been around, my family found it took weeks to feel properly better, so you are probably legitimately still suffering the effects. Being physically ill does affect our stability, so I would view that panic attack as just a symptom of the infection.
