Thanks for all the replies. I know you are all right he is just using PTSD for an excuse. I foolishly believed.

I know what I need to do now. He really had me fooled, I genuinely felt for him having gone through the things he says he has gone through. I believe he has PTSD BUT I think you are all right and I've again fallen for the wrong guy.

I just have to ad my 2 cents here. People who cheat will say ANYTHING to justify it. Justify it to themselves and to the person they are having the affair with. PTSD or not, this is not a healthy relationship. I also do not believe that cheating is a symptom of PTSD.

I think I would move on too just from a woman's point of view and not a PTSD point of view. He has made no commitments to you and the fact that he is mad just because you thought of going out with someone while he is married and involved with you seems pretty lopsided. Red flag.
