Thanks all. I have serious fullbody flashbacks the moment I lie down on a bed. I use nature sounds to calm myself before even sitting on the bed. I do some stretching exercising like bending from side to side and some yoga type things. basically I am telling my body that I can move in all directions, my hands are not tied up. My feet are not tied up. I look at my PJs and focus on both parts until I get it that noone has taken them off. I have sleep meds but they can't prevent the flashbacks. I just keep trying to stay feeling safe within myself. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
