Hey if it was up to family/spouse/friend's I'd have been dead already. Strangers assisted... taught, mentored, listened. That's why I'm still here and frankly I was pissed off... but it was a bunch of concentric circles of familial dysfunction.

I'm in my second marriage now.. my first was gonna kill me, quite literally.

Hmm. Well you're here now... and there are some things to get/improve on... but remaining in an abusive relationship with PTSD is not advised... ultimately. If is was not an issue you wouldn't be here, eh?

I tried to leave him. Thats when he cranked up the abuse ( rape ) . To show me what will happen if i leave. More punishment. He scares me. He bought a weapon recently.

Um... you need to get out.

And you need to file for a restraining order. You need a women's shelter or place to go. They didn't have them when I got out (shelter's). My ex put a shot gun to my head after beating me into the ground with my mother on the phone in my hand.

I, ultimately, placed a high value on "breathing"... what resources you got... it took me several attempts to get out.

Okay I'm officially concerned now. Staying in an abusive situations is seldom conducive to healing from PTSD.
