I have met this wonderful guy and we had the most perfect relationship for the first 3 months. He had told me all about his health issues which included PTSD. I saw the good and the bad side of him and learned to be very patient with the bad side. However, one day we got into an agruement where he was continually cussing at me and I hung up the phone on him and that caused us to split up.

Gave him space and then about 12 days after the breakup, he messaged me asking to meet with him cause he wanted to clear the air between us. I agreed but he continues to delay saying that he needs to make the right time for him and be in the right mood. Please help me, should I let him know that I still love him, miss him and will be here for him or should I just wait it out? So confused. Been reading other posts and I know that I am in for a hard time but I feel he is worth the effort.

Welcome to the forum.

You may want to re-post this question in the supporter section as not all supporters venture in here. (I'm a sufferer myself and can't really comment.)

Welcome to the forum; I am also a girlfriend of a sufferer and things for me are tough right now with him wanting space as well. He proposed at one point, which I accepted. His feelings as of late are leaning towards, "I don't know." I am learning to take what used to be commonplace as baby steps, for instance him calling me or, telling me he loves me etc.

I wish you the best.
