My goal for today

Do nothing

I achieved it. I only climbed out of bed at 1pm:eek:. I've watched a lot of Olympics.

On the doing side. I did 2 loads of washing and hung them out, I now have to go get them in. I will throw a couple of chicken breasts into a casserole with a sauce and mushrooms to cook for supper. I will then watch CSI.

Goals for Wednesday.
Shower, dress and eat breakfast.
Do a community car journey.
Go to work for an hour.
Post some cards overseas.
Walk dogs.
Cook supper for me as H will be away.
 
Get through the day without causing irreparable damage to myself or others.
I take days like that an hour at a time. I hope you get on ok.

My goals for this evening: Eat dinner, have a shower, sleep. Ignore all housework as I'm too tired to care. Avoid the Olympics (by not switching on the television or going to Google to search) because it is literally driving me insane (sorry KP and Cath, I am not feeling the buzz about it all, I prefer the winter stuff. Well, really just the ice skating for the pretty costumes and music). Not to shout at my boyfriend, who has still not done the dishes, which he said he'd do 2 hours ago so I could make dinner. Oh, the exciting life I am leading just now ;)...
 
Too late, he just got shouted at for coming and asking me what I was doing, so I barked "Waiting for you to do the dishes!"... My new goal is to go and apologise, but I am really hungry and that makes me a bit like the incredible hulk. He always avoids doing anything that requires effort. Still, I shouldn't snap, I should stay calm. *Rolling my eyes while mad at myself*.

That's OK rainy_daze it isn't for everyone. I LOVE the Winter Olympics, especially the ice-skating, but I watch as much as I can even though we Brits aren't very good at it! (Except the ice dance and curling!)

I was really avoiding those last two tasks as they make me anxious and my head starts to feel like a swarm of bees. But I knuckled down and did it.

Tomorrow I will go for my walk.
 
I am having a IBS flare now. So I will give myself the treatment. I will pamper myself. I have my soft blanket and Ice water and werthers candies. I am watching movies and am relaxing on the forum.
