Goal For The Day

I was feeling a little down today, so my goal was to get back some of the goodness I felt from yesterday. After therapy a fog has lifted and I feel much better.

I am going to look for jobs.

I need to ring the dentist to make an appointment for my children. I have been putting this off for months. I can't quite think about an appointment for myself yet so baby steps.

I also need to finish sanding my front door, but having the door open is making me anxious. So maybe just do 10 minutes.

@euca I need to do the same thing with the dental. I know I really need to go, but I am not a big fan of leaving my house or dental appointments. Thankfully, though it has been quite some time for the kids, the hubby says he'll take care of it on their end.

I have to call and make arrangements on getting on a process that will reduce my medical insurance. I will clean out the coffeepot and take a shower and do some wash. Then I will go back to my daughters house and wait for her cat to have her kittens.

Will be taking my car in to get the oil changed as well as for them to look it over to get it ready for winter.

Wow, my goal came to me as I was waking up. Go work out, even for a little while, and I did it. I actually did it!! Whoo hoo. Didn't give any negative thoughts any time to materialize. Thankfully!

@britt: sorry you have probs with dentist too...but i'm so glad your other half can help with the kids. I still haven't made that appointment :(

However I have finished renovating the front door and I can now lock it! :)

Today's goal is to make it through swimming lessons without dissociating. (Wondering if next week I might try to actually swim myself)

To get out to the treadmill at the gym. To go to my son's football dinner in a positive mood. So far I'm not feeling like I did the last few days, so that might be a difficult one. Getting out too. Hmmm.

I made it to my son's football dinner but not the treadmill. At least one goal was accomplished.

Write doctor about a $300 bill for a 10 minute visit asking them to accept my $75 check.

I had called for a re-fill for what I thought was antibiotic eye drops. Staff insisted I see Dr. I had to wait 40 minutes to see him, then said "You should have just asked for a refill"! The prescription was $63. Told the pharmacist I couldn't afford it, then he suggested I could get comparable over the counter for $8 - - the drops (Rx) was for eye allergy relief, not antibiotic, and the OTC drops work great!
