@RussH Just my 2cents:clown:...I do not think it was either greediness or lack of faith.
You prayed to the Father and brought your concerns to Him. Having once been an accountant and seeing success and failure in homes as well as business, planning with praying on it and listening is bringing all things to the Lord or one's (Higher Power). (Not excluding anyone's HP).
Many times my clients and I exchanged prayers on concerns over making things work. Tax season for farmers could be especially heart rendering. I would also hold prayer in the college (when teaching) for those whom asked as well for provision + any other needs. (That was a challenging one in today's walk.)
Bringing all things under submission and for alliance is for me a way of being vulnerable, being transparent to the Father, sometimes...I even manage to be obedient while encouraging the Holy Spirit to whisper in directional guidance of His Will. -Not being flippant here, actually admitting imperfection.
Yet, I must align with Mother Earth's natural energy as well in a old tradition of my roots (being totally honest here.) Much is to be said for walking in peace with nature and finding one's spirit guides to bring out the feminine maternal balance for me. It is our way from long, long ago before time had acronyms.
I am sure you give thanks for many things in life that you receive. Your faith shines for many to see. Thank you for your tolerance of my views as always. May you have the blessing of abundance in your needed provisions. Peace and love.
