Just wanted to get this out cause I feel like I'm finally moving in the right direction in regards to work jerk. Usually my heart does the samba whenever I see him. I've taken to doing some "self talk" when I go to bed; or whatever you wanna call it. But I started repeating in my mind that the memories will fade, my heart will no longer jump, and he is banished from heart and mind.
Past two days I noticed a big change when I was around him. I didn't get that huge thud in my chest, I didn't start getting anxious (he usually triigers my anxiety big time) and I'm not always looking over my shoulder to see if he's there.
Some may think "okay girl you need to get a grip" but I've always had trouble with getting attached quickly and naturally harder to let go.
