Father has always been a right wing religious cult. You have to convert to his version of religion - only way. Recently learned he use to tell my younger brother he was going to "hell" and a "product of Satan." What kind of father would tell, and preach that, to a young child???
I'm going through very difficult times. His solution convert to Jehovah Witness so "his people could help." When I wouldn't I was disowned, and told how he and God hates me. While I was facing major medical issues! Sent me into major depression and ptsd made worse (he caused ptsd.)
Then he wants to know what he ever did to me? This is after he admitted what he did to family. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. More manipulation which he is a master at.
At same time told they don't recruit??? Yet told they "purposely target low-income, prisons and disadvantaged people." Yet they don't recruit? Maybe he needs to study some history.
I mean no disrespect to Jehovah Witness's in general. But as a kid in family counseling with them was told by senior member, "You must obey your father - even if he's abuses emotionally and physically." Might want to be more selective in your members.
It's late and seriously pisses me off. Been on my mind. I would write to my so called father. But his last email was "never to contact him again.' Such a godly man.
