What are the ways to improve handwriting?

Writing for an hour hurts me since I lessened writing from last year.

Any exercise suggestions. I will appreciate your help.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you looking for ways to make your handwriting more legible, or are you looking for ways to be able to write for longer?

Yes cherryblossom, I want to write longer. I want to write for 2-3 hours without getting bored.

Sometimes I remember punishment of writing homework twice or five times.

Handwriting more legible, what is that? Please explain.

You can get OT for problems with hands and writing.

My kids have hypermobile joints and low muscle tone so had problems holding the pencil properly, writing clearly and maintaining the posture to write for long periods. If it had not been caught early they would have had problems with writing for long periods due to resulting compensations in the way they write, causing muscle and joint stiffness.

A pencil grip helps if you have problems gripping the pen. Pinching exercises such as with a "pooey animal" and squeezing and pinching specialist therapeutic putty. Strengthening the upper body with push up exercises against the wall. But I would recommend seeking out someone who specialises in OT for hands and getting an evaluation.

But if you simply mean getting bored by having to write for long periods, not sure what the answer is to that.

Thank you Lizio. What is OT? I couldn't catch that. Sorry.

No I don't have gripping problems. When I write more than 30 mins, it starts paining in hand muscles. Could it be stamina issue?

Occupational therapist.

If you have pain in your muscles you are probably gripping the pen wrongly and using the wrong writting posture, so your muscles tense up. You should be able to write for longer than 30 minutes without getting pain. I would go to an Occupational therapist. But pick a good one who specialises in hands. If it is stamina issues they would be able to advise you of exercises to strengthen your muscles to help you last longer.
