Day 2

1. Three new things you are grateful for today : I'm still alive, I had chocolate coffee this morning, the black out only lasted a few seconds this morning while I was in the shower
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours :Had a good friend over yesterday afternoon, he came back from India after a 10 month stay.
3. Exercise :This morning
4. Meditation :This afternoon
5. A random act of kindness : I will give my french-spanish dictionnary to the Michel Sarrasin day care as there is one patient who doesn't speak french, just spanish. Many of us would like to communicate with her but can't. Hope this will encourage the group.

(((((((((((((((((((Me and you))))))))))))))))))). A hug for anyone who likes them!

I had a harrowing experience in the last two days, so was forced to take some days off. It even bordered on traumatic:

I took a walk near a chicken coop nearby here with a friend of mine. There is a paved path there for walkers. Well! Unbeknownst to me, a small chicken feather somehow got up my nose. That night, the night before last, my nose was running a marathon. All night long I kept waking to swallow, too tired to get up and spit it out (gross, I know...). Finally at 4 AM I woke enough to think of doing a nasal rinse. There it was, sneaking its way down the drain; I almost missed seeing it!

By yesterday morning I was exhausted, suffering from Lyme Disease as I do. So I ended up sleeping the whole day, after I did my morning devotions, praying and meditation. Then I slept all night too.

This morning I woke, still feeling dragged out, but at least I am up. So I guess I shall be taking it easy as well until the 7th. Not that I'd planned to though. So I sure am glad that we are doing this second challenge, because I feel like keeping on with this, but just not today!

Hi all, just a brief check in from me while I surface for a moment before diving into grading!

Wow! Looks like we will have a good group for round two.

Still need to meditate and exercise today...

I am grateful that classes are over!!!!
I am grateful for my new back fence.
I am grateful for help in replacing lost things. (oops.)

Yesterday, I ate a donut. Ok. It was just a donut (well, not "just a donut" it was from the best donut shop in town and on the occasion of the last meeting of my class) and I only eat donuts twice a year - at the end of the semester. And... I LOVE donuts. Sigh. Yummy donut.

My random act for yesterday was (didn't recall when I posted on the private conversation!) sending a supportive note to one of my grown up daughters... She's got a lot on her plate these days.

It is never too early Froggie! and glad to have you back Sheila! THERE is a danger it never occurred to anyone to worry about! Chicken feathers up the nose! :cautious::shifty::hilarious: Really, it puts all the other worries in perspective in a kind of a crazy way.

Seriously, I hope you are feeling much better today and get your spunk back soon. Take good care of yourself.
