Would anyone be interested in a happiness challege?

My co-leader will add you to the private communication for our group. Welcome and I hope this will be a positive experience for you @Audreyinmydreams.

I want to say also that I hope and pray that this will be a good experience for all of us and that it will help us a lot. I am very hopeful that it will help me too, as I have had a lot of life problems lately that are hard to solve.

I have already begun the 5 things every day, or done as many of them as I have been able to do. It is helping some already! Just wanted to let you all know that.
 
I wanted to clarify exactly what The Happiness Challenge is, and isn't. We are watching this Ted talk The happy secret to better work, where he explains how to change your brain to give it the advantage that happiness gives it. The challenge is to do these five things everyday for 21 days.

1. Write down three new things you are grateful for and why each day.
2. Journal about a positive experience experience in the last 24 hours.
3. Exercise
4. Meditation
5. A random act of kindness towards others.

If you feel you can't do that, and are not up to the challenge, then it isn't for you at this time. The focus is on striving to rewire your brain, and to do this, you must follow the rules set forth in the video. If you are wanting to join, I will add you, if you have joined and feel it will be too much, please let me know and I will remove you.
 
I am closing the Happiness Challenge. It is a simple thing, not hard, but I am not going to run this. I will probably start another next month, for people who want to do the FIVE things that Shawn Achor lists as what will change your brain. If you can't do the five things, then maybe another time would be better for you. If you are masking doing someone a service or kindness, and are in fact doing them a disservice, this will be brought up so you can move in the direction of how the Happiness Challenge is set up. There will be no whining.

I will take down the conversation that is up, so please don't be insulted if you are kicked off. Everyone is being taken down.

Myself, one other and maybe a few others are carrying on. You are welcome to join us if you like. Please PM me if you are interested. Discussion of any area of your life will be welcome, if it somehow pertains to the Challenge. No one will be allowed to judge others' challenge answers or decide what topics of discussion are off limits. That will not be part of this challenge.
