Controlled exposure? Buh-bye triggers & stressors having any kind of effect whatsoever.

Uncontrolled exposure? Hello triggers & stressors getting far far worse.

Exactly. I choose no, because there was no "in the right context" option. For example, a few years back someone gave my husband some really bad advice and told him I needed to be forced to face my triggers head on. This person has a B.A. in psychology so my husband took it as the word of god. It took him a long time to realize I was getting worse as a result.

Talking about it here, reading threads where i can walk away if it gets to be to much... incredibly helpful. A lot of shit that I used to not be able to talk about or listen to other people stories no just make me feel sad for the part of my that suffered so much because of it.

I think I'd challenge the idea of "constantly". Perhaps you mean repetitively or often... but I still didn't like the choices.

Desensitized for instance. How do you mean? I initially thought of it as good exposures but wasn't sure. Now I'm really not sure.

For me it worked a little bit but after a while of not doing it then everything came back. To me it sucked starting and got to the point where it wasn't but only a temporary fix.
