Having A Pet

She hated my ex husband. She always ran away whenever she heard him. Except for one time when he came home very late and I didn't know where he was. I was sitting in a chair waiting for him. She sat behind me on the chair.

Isn't it funny how they do that? It's the kind of behavior you would expect from a dog. Anytime a male comes over (except my brother she loves him) she's on alert and will observe. Any time my guy friends and I play fight she freaks. She will hiss and get worked up about it. Then with my current boyfriend one day she sat on the table in front of him just watching... and put her ears back and hissed in his face hahahaha. Another time one of my guy friends came over, and she sat in the same spot on the table but didn't his. Except she kept circling around him like a predator almost just WAITING for him to do something she didn't like... it was hysterical.

The other weird thing she does is when I am in the bathtub, if I stop moving for too long (she cries at the door if I don't let her in) she will start yowling and pacing the tub ledge like a maniac.

My little man hating feminist kitty haha

I love your furry family, bubzilla.

My cats all have their unique attributes, too.

Leo/Lío is my sweet trickster. I try my best to put him in another room when I'm changing the bedding (if I'm exhausted) because that's his favorite "get-in-the-way" game. On the weekends, however, he gets full play time to do so as he pleases if I change the bedding. When I go to bed, he stations himself on my shoulder. His purr lulls me to sleep.

Sombra (Shadow) is my shy mother. She puts me to bed. When I get under the covers, she sits on an ottoman that's right by my side near my pillow. She jumps up there immediately to be by my side.

Anís (Anise) is my hipster, she does funky moves when I pet her; she likes to sleep in the pocket space between in the curve of my knees and legs (I sleep on my side). She often says good night to me first by coming near my face and gently puts her front paw on my cheek.

Saffron is my sleepy gargoyle. I sleep with my futton upright like a sofá and she sleeps on top of the futon's back.

Then, sweet Sadie is the dog that puts up with the kitty cats. She has her bed near us and delights to see us all happy. She's good at snoring sometimes.

I don't sleep in a bedroom (too trigger-some). I sleep in my den. Den: very appropriate with all of us animals taking on the task of slumber together.

Like I said before: 100%!

When I got my first cat Sascha, I had a date come to my house to pick me up, I left him standing inside the door for a moment while I grabbed my handbag from my room, but when I came back, Sascha was standing in the living room doorway with his ears flattened and tail lashing, then he leaped and went straight for my date's face.

As soon as I patched him up, I sent him on his way. If the cat don't like ya, neither do I.

Honestly I really do trust their judgement. For the most part, they have a pretty good sense of these things. Mine generally prefers females - but it's a pretty rare case that a guy will leave my house without his hand or arm bleeding somewhere. Respect us and our space or you get bit! (not by me of course) hahaha

She takes time to warm up to men. You don't just go up to ladies and go grabbing them... and apparently not girl kitties either hahaha.

We have two cats presently.

Sparkles, whose the older guy, orange and white, who is a mamma's boy. If I tell him I'm going to take a nap, he comes with me. At night, he likes to sleep in the crook of my arm, whether it is under covers or not. If he can't get into the crook of my arm, he'll hit me on the nose with his paw until I move my arm. When I use to nurse my son and he slept with us, Sparkles would try to squeeze between us. He was very determined. He used to be a feral kitten before the shelter took him in. They really worked with him.

Raiden is my son's cat. We call him the Ninja cat. He has no fear of the dogs, or, for that manner, anything. He'll just lay in the middle of the floor and you will have to step over him. He also jumps on people's shoulders even if they weren't expecting it. He usually rides either my husbands soldiers or my son's. When my son leaves the house, the cat will walk around meowing deeply. When he arrives home, he follows him everywhere.

I guess the amusing thing about Sascha's reaction was the fact that he weighs about 12kg......and he's not a fat cat at all.
My date was about 6"2, I guess he got more *pussy* than he bargained for on the first date!:hilarious::whistling:
