Health Monitoring - Jawbone Or Equivalent... Do You?

If it could be in my pocket that would be great. I have just not yet heard of that. It would be good to hear from some that have tried.

Thank you. It certainly won't be in my pants. But I could perhaps wear it on my trousers! I will look into this. I really think I need to.

Finally was home long enough to retrieve my new Fitbit from my daughter's, brand spanking new, all the trimmings, after I ran the original through the wash. Never had to send the old one back, they asked me to put it in our electronics recycling. No charge, either. So for today, which was a day of driving, after a couple of days of alcohol and food, I still managed a 45 minute work out in my gym plus a few steps, got close to 8,000 steps, a far cry from my usual. But better than nothing ;)

Just so ya know, I spent 3-1/2 days at Disney World, over 20,000 steps daily. Soaking in margaritas now. Still put on a respectable 16000 plus today by wandering through airports.

Impressive... Disney World would have that affect is my understanding. Nice work...

I took the day off today... my exercise is pretty up there each week, so I figure an extra day off to get stuff done is worth it.

Not sure why I looked, but while bouncing around on a bus in Antigua, Guatemala not long ago, I looked at my Fitbit. Every cobblestone bump was pushing up the count. If only I actually burned the calories for the over 3,000 steps it said I took while on the hemorrhoidectomy ride. Afterwards, I shook the devil out of the thing, sharply. Not a single step counted.

LOL... that is funny. I would have stayed on the bus, just for the excitement of gaining steps whilst sleeping / reading or such. :D
