Healthy Eating Challenge?

For two and a half weeks I ate two meals, but after our meeting on Monday which sent me for a tailspin all the best intentions have not been enough.

I was a chronic meal skipper for almost two decades, so I can really relate. Part of the issues I was dealing with when I got sober was chronic malnutrition and dehydration. Please, please realize that the body/mind connection necessitates regular small meals... and I'm glad you've been hard at resolving this.

I will join you!!! :) I have cut out the caffeine already and it has made a difference. I found it calming to my nervous system, but need to cut out the sugar as well.

I have chronic fatigue syndrome and am using sugar as a quick, (but poor) energy source.

I need to drink artificially sweetened water to help keep me hydrated and help me to avoid the sugar highs and crashes, plus I am determined to lose 50 lbs. So here we go, I will start with reducing the amount of sugar I use and then introduce some artificial sweetener, while cutting down on other sweets and portion sizes.

Good luck to us both,...I hope we enjoy success with this!!!

I think I will die if you cut sugar and caffeine, from me, the exhaustion after ingesting enormous quantities of both are the only things that allow me to sleep.
