Happy Birthday Jesta! I know here, I always miss things, birthdays included, when I'm having a 'poof' day. It's not even a self-absorbed thing, it's just a general 'I have no head' day. Maybe on the other forum, things just sort of conspired fate-wise where an awful lot of people had heads which were elsewhere at the same time, you know? It doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, but it could be a plain old reason. You could maybe post something where you've officially changed your birthday to the 15th or 16th and see if anyone picks up on the oops before leaving somewhere you seem to really like.

I hope it was a good day anyway. I love Amethist's cupcake- it's certain to blow up my own resolve about sweets today!

Thanks everyone, I wasn't really sympathy seeking it was just that I'd had a good day. Start with opening cards in the morning, family and friends pop in during the day then out for a meal (with drinks) in the evening.
Was feeling in good spirits when I thought I'd pop on here as it had surprised me with the happy birthday message previous years. When I realised there wasn't one it seemed like a good idea at the time to post a joke about it.

Realised very quickly that I'd made a mistake, I'd put it in the wrong section and some were taking it at face value! OH NO, Last laugh on me for I've been worrying about it since.

Better get my apologies in, sorry for posting in the wrong section, sorry to anyone who thought it was serious particularly for the poor joke about the rope. I may be older but clearly no wiser. A big thank you for those helping me get out of the hole I'd slung myself in.
