Old Nam Fart here, Danang 1965-66 USN - CHB2 - 9th MEB, there are several of us who hang our hats here. Pull up a chair.
Nice puppy ya got there. I'm sure he gives you comfort when no one else can - they do that sort of stuff unconditionally.
That's what we do here, in a nutshell, we lean on each other until the "Fecal Gale" has passed. That's a new expression that just revealed itself to describe the "shit storm" that the beast set's upon us. Those being the anger, depression, rage, isolation and the other emotions that rise up in us. In most cases impacting wives, children, parents and friends without warning. We cover it all here and hopefully give some insight to dealing with it.
Chu Lai, rode a little shotgun on a deuce-and-a half - in 65 it was barren there was not even airstrip. Oh, the memories.....
