Hi eddy
My husband had a trauma related motorcycle accident almost 4 years ago now. His physical injuries were very minor compared to the PTSD he now suffers from.
Now after 2 years of therapy and ongoing community support, as well as me kicking his butt when needed, he is on the road to recovery. Still a long way to go, but a heck of a lot further than he thought possible, though he does find this hard to see some days.
You will get past the anger and depression eventually, hard work, but it is possible. Loosing a limb must make it harder to except though.
Maybe your wife would benefit from reading some of the supporter articles. We can support her too, so she can keep going with it all.
Hang in there, there is life after PTSD. Maybe not what you had planned, but plans can be changed and adapted. Which is what we are doing now.
