Hello fallenangel. I left the Army ten years ago, and about that time started being aware something wasn't right. Which was the classic 14-15 years after most of the bad stuff.
There is a lot of good stuff here about learning to cope with reactions and anger.
The main thing seems to be aware of what's up (you are), and finding the tricks to deal with it (you can).
Realising you can and doing so brings a bit of optimism back.
