Hi Everyone...The Move Is Over!!

I am moved and settled and adjusting to a huge change. I have been taking a little break as i have been so buzy..but in a good way. I just wanted to say hello and let everyone know that I am doing ok...

I am kind of stressed and overwhelmed but I will be back to the forum more regularly when i am settled..and I get my internet figured out!!!

Remember that even good, and positive stuff can cause stress and anxiety. It's good that you are taking a break, we all need them now and then....

Well my friend, you did it. You have your OWN place now. Getting settled and decorating you world can be fun if you don't stressssssss yourself out.

It has been just over 2 years since my mom and I made the move. So far, so good. We have had our "discussions" shall I say, but as we learned our way around each other it got easier.

Did you know I put the silverware in the dishwasher wrong? Didn't know there WAS a wrong/right way. hehehe I also put the glasses in the cupboard wrong. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! I don't fold the sheets, underwear or towels correctly. AND I used the wrong dish towel to dry my hands.

It all works out and I am happy for you to finally have a place of your own. Relax and enjoy. Take time for you. :)

Herc....I just laughed out loud when I read that!!! I do to!!! I put dishes in the wrong way too!!!! Also..the other day I sprayed fantastic on the kitchen counter and my mom said something and I had to comment...Mom...Really...don't pick at me because I am cleaning...UUUGGGHHH!!!! She really is set in her ways!!! OOO>>>MMMMM>>>GGGGG!!!!!

Actually...through learning myself how to communicate properly...(and she cat you would be proud!!!!) I set boundaries...in a healthy way and she responded in a positive way...Now that is progress!!! There are still more things we need to get figured out but the help has been amazing.

And....big breathe...in case any one is interested......I am going to do a 5 day detox and the arrangements are in the works with my community support worker. I am scared to death but I know this is needed!!! I should be going in the next month!!!

I am sooooo proud of you.........Not only for setting healthy boundaries, but for having the courage, strength and wisdom to know that you have a problem with your meds, and for taking the steps to overcome this.......

You have come so far in your healing. Be proud of yourself.... YOU have done the work girl and we all know it hasn't been an easy road, but one that you chose to walk, and have maintained.......

Omg...I think i got food poisoning. We had lunch out yesterday...today was really yucky!!! It was soooo nice and is so nice to have extra help from my Mother!!!! She REALLY has been helpful with my son..I soooooo needed the help and I am so appreciative and thankful that this actually happened. I think now I will be able to really complete this healing journey. It took a long time but it finally happened....
