Hi everyone , i have been redirected to this forum from bpd world , which i have been on recently for support.
My story is that i am an ex british airborne soldier who served 25 years ago in the Falklands , and later in Northern Ireland and Bosnia .
25 years ago the accepted military practice for ptsd was go to the naafi , get wasted and then get on with it.
i sucessfully did this for the rest of my army career.
My third wife left me last week due to my ptsd and other issues, and i have a 15 year old daughter who i have seen 4 times since she was 18 months old.
until this years 25th anniversary "celebrations" ( BAD CHOICE OF WORD) i thought i had got my life back on track , but recently this thing has come back to haunt me.
Please help me
Andy

Hello Andy, welcome to the forum. There has been a lot in the media about the 25th anniversary. I can understand that being difficult to stomach.

There's lots here to help you help yourself. Lots of info and lots of supportive people plus quite a few people from the forces too.
