Hi - I Just Joined Today - Bad Week

Hello Community,

I just joined this forum today because I am having a bad week and was needing some kind of support. I am so happy to have found it. It is a lovely place..from what I have seen so far..and wanted to thank all of you for being here and thank the administrators and creators for their efforts. So many things have been considered in designing this and the rules, and I am looking forward to my time here.

Hi Anthony, thank you for your welcome.

I would like to add that my name is Brandi, and I live in Colorado. I just moved here from NJ. (That's the USA). I am 33, have CPTSD with Dissociative Disorder, and am a mother to an amazing 10 year old girl.

I am on SSI because I have not been able to work for years but I recently got a job at a restaurant because money was needed badly. I had a trigger at work that lead to a week of emotional turmoil and physical exhaustion. That is how I found this place...I needed support! My bosses are open minded and trying to understand my problem because I was a great worker prior to this trigger, and have given me time to see if I can 'get it back together'.

Welcome to the forum.....Triggers can be a real pain in the a@@, but you can get back to where you were before. Just takes some time, some healing and being kind to yourself....
