Hi, I'm New Here

Hi everyone,
I found this forum on the PTSD forum and decided to join. I was molested at age 7 by an 18 year old male babysitter. When I was around the age of 9, I finally understood that it was wrong and told my mother. She said "it happened a long time ago so lets just forget about it". I also was emotionally, verbally and physically (mild) abused by her.

I am hoping meet some new friends on her and basically not feel so alone in this battle.

Isn't it odd that people just think you can forget it? You are not alone "likestopaintblack"...unfortunately, there are far too many of us, but if you're feeling lonely, just give a shout out. I'm here and I'm sure many others will be, too, but then I'm new to this site, too, so what do I know? Yet, I know that if you shout out to me, I will get an email and I will shout a great HELLO...I SEE AND HEAR YOU to you.
