I was going to say hello but I was distracted by those two. They remind me of the old guys from the muppets you see at the end. Funny.

Hey!! I resemble that remark. You made me laugh, damn it. :ROFLMAO:

Hey Tad,
So you were at Pendleton? What section? We were at Los Flores before we flew over. Did you come up from Kuwait? We were leap frogging with 5th Marines most of the way up. I have already received some direction from these guys. I am stoked about the future.

I never envied combat engineers. That has got to be the hardest infantry job. I was a SAW gunner.

I was at Pendleton for a while also. Quite a while ago. I was with the 28th Marines, part of the 5th Mar Div, at a camp near the end of the base where San Clemente is. Been a long time so I don't remember the actual name of the camp. I'm sure it probably still looks about the same.

Been out in the field with Combat Engineers, very tough job. Like most, ya'll didn't get the respect you deserved.

Yeah I was at Pendleton at San Mateo. Thats where JarHed is talking about. I came up from Kuwait all the way to Baghdad. Who were you with Animal? I was in a SAW team my buddy was the SAW gunner. I was attached with 1/5 and 2nd Tanks.

We did the same thing. I was with and activated reserve unit. We were at Horno for a couple months in those quansum huts. Then we moved to Los Flores. That has to be the best spot on Base. We crossed the border on May 23. We went all the way up to Tikrit, then went back down to DiWaneha before we were flown out.
