hello, i am an afab dude from Russia, I am 27 years old and until recently (~few years have passed, fish memory) i was oblivious to what has been going on in this household. i have diagnosed cptsd along with bipolar and asd, also chronic migraines if that is relevant, no idea. it is hard for me to trust people because i never know anybody's true intentions, be it online because you can never know who's behind the monitor, or even irl because i always fail to "read" people if that makes sense. but i gave myself a chance to be here, at least for a while, see fellow people in a similar situation

hello chrysalis. welcome to the forum. sorry for what brings you here but glad you are here.

chrysalis has been one of my longest running meditations on my own recovery from child sex trafficking. the parable of the emperor moth is a particular fave. in the early meditations, i easily believed my chrysalis had been crushed and i was hopelessly damaged as a result.

fast forward half a century to the my 71st birthday and i now believe my chrysalis is still in progress. it be the struggle is still building my strength. healing happens. i believe it happened to me. i hope it happens to you, as well.

welcome aboard. stay brave.

hello arfie, thank you for the warm welcome!
likewise i am sorry about what made you sign up for this forum. i am very glad you're taking steps towards healing, it is important to never give up!!

of course healing does happen, i believe in that. at least the wounds may lose their significance and stop bugging the one who has them. one way or another it gets better.

i will, i promise!
