Heya Jenny. Heading to a six week inpatient PTSD program. What was your "civvi" hospital experience? Was it a PTSD program? Not sure what the f*ck to do with this. Don't want to do it but everyone but me thinks I should go.

Thats when you should go Pepsi. I am usually the last to know when things are going pear shaped with me.
Just an opinion.

Hang in there Pepsi

Maybe the food will be good. Drop us a line to let us know how you're doing, if you can. If not, see ya soon.

The civy hospital was a safe place for me to rest, find my feet and figure out some things. I was sent there for different reasons and trust me I did not want to go. I am glad that I did, it saved my life literally...I didn't realize how ill I was and how long I was ill for- it ended up that I was diagnosed and treated (meds wise) for PTSD...I am still being treated outpatient at the base hospital and am going to the OSI (operational stress injury) clinic in a few months. If I had the chance to get into an inpatient program I would jump at the chance.

The docs and the nurses helped me, they wanted to understand me and made a real effort to help me figure some things out. Although I have bad days the meds they gave me (so far) help me have more good ones....they helped me restore some peace in my life... although I still have anxiety attacks and depression , I left the civy hospital thinking there is hope and this will get better. These people changed my life - I didn't realize that it was falling apart for the last couple of years...

You gotta trust someone sometime and you gotta give yourself the best chance to get well...I would go for it, I would go and get all of the help and tools that they offer, I would grab it with both hands wring every lesson you can from it. I hope the inpatient program treats you well, I hope you improve and I wish you all the best. Keep us in the loop eh!
