I'm a 36 year old male and recently I just had a memory of me catching my wife having sex with my best friend in our living room. Strange thing is I have always rememberd the night. All I remembered up until this point is finding her in the living room on the recliner in a bath robe naked and my friend lying stomach down on the floor.

I remember telling her to come into the bedroom where I then asked her what she was doing out there naked and she told me she was getting a glass of water. Now I remember actually catching them...Is there anyway that my mind repessed the memory?

That was 11 or 12 years ago. The crazy thing is I never understood why my friend quit talking to me.. What should I do? Cause this is eating at me.

We now have a 4 year old daughter.

I have alway kinda thought thats what had happend. I just dont know if my mind is playing tricks on me..

It is possible, but that doesn't necessarily mean you didn't get paranoid and imagine it. It's hard to tell either way sometimes, I have a memory of getting hit with a pipe wrench in the garage, but I don't remember if it's real or not.

Is she showing similar behavior now? I'm by no means knowledgeable about women, but unless they are very good at it, it seems there would be indicators of something secret.

But regardless, it all comes down to you, are you scared your daughter is someone else's? Are you scared she is cheating on you now?

Personally I believe it is possible to still love someone after you have cheated, though you would stop if you truly loved them, so it could also be possible you remember now correctly, and that it was a one time thing and you guys are ok now.

Also he may have stopped talking to you cause you may have put him facedown on the floor, and repressed all that(If I caught a friend f*cking my girl I'd tear him to pieces :D).

But in the end, not enough info to know if you repressed it or imagined it, but it is possible to forget and even change memories.

Yeah we had been drinking, me prolly more then them it was two years after the loss of my little brother and i was really depressed.

Ouch....what a trigger that was....Over 20 years ago my husband and his brother and wife tried to get me to do the swappy thing. They were all drunk and I had been trying to get my BABY to sleep while they were drinking. My husband never really drank much so it was surprising that he got intoxicated.

I walked in on them all together and freaked out pretty bad. It was a horrible situation and because they were family there was never much of a seperation. As a matter of fact, after I kicked my sister in law in the face...she said she didn't even understand what the big deal was.

BTW....we are going to visit them next month....we haven't seen each other in 8 years. I have to fight the flashbacks every time there names are mentioned so I am trying to prepare myself for not flipping out on them all again.

I know my husband wouldn't do that again...but that doesn't mean my sister in law wouldn't try....life is full of some pretty messed up people!

Have you talked to your wife about it and asked if it was real?
