Welcome along, devildoc. Thank you for what you do. Is corpsman from the Army or Marines? I've seen the movie, Jarhead and I think it's associated with the Marines. You are not alone, my friend. It is very difficult to open up to those who don't understand your state of mind neither what you've been through. It will take time...

Corpsman is navy. But are attached to marine units, serving as their medical providers. Some corpsman work in hospitals and others go to marine units. Also corpsman can provide medical and tactical medical care for the other services as well. I love my job! In every marine unit there's a corpsman somewhere. Enjoy your holiday. Be safe.

Hi Stephen. Welcome! Thank you for your service. I like this forum. I had to take a break for a few days because something that happened set off my PTSD this week but I find that I'm not embarrassed by my feelings or thoughts here.

Hi Stephen. Glad you decided to join. Lots of good people here and the site is awesome, in my humble opinion. If you have a question, ask. If you have an answer, tell. Yup. This is not a don't ask, don't tell sort of place. Here, we ask and tell. Giggle. I have a warped sense of humor. Didn't get much sleep last night.
