Hi Stephen, nice to meet you. I'm new to this site too and I am discovering an awful lot of people actually understand what I've been through. It is very strange, finally I'm talking about things I've never really discussed before and people actually 'get it'. Welcome to the forum devildoc
 
Welcome. This site is great for support and exchanging ideas with people who get how you're feeling. Beware of secondary traumatization and try to limit your exposure to other trauma stories, other than that, no matter how diffuse the trauma, the symptoms are all alike.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! :) I will also check out the combat PTSD forum once I have a chance. It's great to talk with people who actually understand what I'm going through and what it's like. AS1975 couldn't of said it any better. That's exactly how I feel. It's hard to open up to people, especially in the service. Thank you all again for the support.
