New Here
Hi all!! Let me introduce myself here. I'm "warbonnet" that is the head piece that Indians wore for courage, the feathers were represented by the conquers they won. My dream-horse came with this name and that where I first heard of the word and then researched it. It was very appropriate for her spirit and looks. She was a Missouri Fox Trotter that was red and white colored markings like a painted horse has, she was gorgeous, and very spirited.

My life exploded, I had it "all" up until then. Now though I am a survivor of the perfect storm that hit my family. I no longer have my dream horse Warbonnet, but I keep her alive in my heart and use her name.

The last part of this perfect storm was the part I'm still in recovery from. I was hit by a truck when I walked across the street. I was hurt very badly, as you could imagine. I would like to meet others whom also have experienced great loss in their lives, it is rare to find people who can understand what it is like.

I'm still healing from all the losses that led up to the end result of the accident. The accident also has left me with countless injuries that I deal with today.

BUT I am ALIVE!!

Nice to meet you all and I hope to get to know some great folks here!! Thank you for reading :)

Hi Warbonnet, wow, I love your story about that name. Have you ever heard about spirit guides? It reminds me of that a lot. Glad to have you here, alive and kicking :)

I fell in a puddle of water in a store. I was late 40's when I fell. When I woke up, I think I was around age 10. I came to thinking that I was going to be in trouble with my mom who was dead for several years. The nerves and the fears all came back with the fall. Go figure. Since then, its like there is a curse on my life.
