Nature, riding my bike in the mountains, watching romantic movies and sleeping. hehe

These days, I don't do much. I write regularly (and have 3 books planned for publishing in 2026) but don't really consider that a "hobby." And I am always with my cats--also not a hobby, in my book.

I like to walk in the woods, take photographs of animals and most anything in nature, lots of reading, some traveling.

Oh, and learning languages.

I just wanted to clarify that I didn't mean cats was my hobby lol. Just that I don't have much time left over for hobbies anymore because I'm always taking care of my cats and my daughters cats. There are a lot of them.

The “holy trinity” of foundational learning (Sport, Musical Instrument, Foreign Language)

Love this idea! Never thought of it that way but makes sense! I think for me it would be a holy cross: singing, piano, drawing, foreign language. Oh wait—travel! I guess it would be a pentagram —lol!

One of my hobbies is finding cool rocks. I have my local fave place and then I also go on mindat.org to find locations. Yesterday I went looking for agates and found some (the reddish ones, the white ones, and one blue one on the left)—plus some other stuff. That *might* be a fossil on the left (greenish, fan-shaped).

A current hobby is journaling, and doing it with fountain pens. I feel like I've been the opposite of talkative for a long time so beginning to talk more, even in writing feels like it's correcting an imbalance. Opening me up. Helping me get in touch with myself.

I like the sensory aspect of physically writing on good paper with a fountain pen also.

I have quite a few ink colours and love seeing the colours against each other.

I realize that I forgot to add learning languages and alphabet systems. I don't have much time to do it anymore but I really enjoyed it and I hope one day to get back to it
