Horrendous Nightmares

In my first post on here, I wrote about the chance meeting of seeing my evil ex husband in my CBT clinic. since then I have had terrible nightmares, two nights ago I had a dream where he kicked me down the stairs ( this has happened by him in real life)

But in my dream I actually felt him kick me and my whole body flipped forwards so quickly like whip lash that I flicked my back really badly, & I have now pulled all the muscles in my back and ended up on the floor , I must have been on the edge of the bed!

I find that when I am just under when I can feel myself twitching and throwing my arms about, I also thrashed out my arm to the side and broke my table lamp, so the encounter of seeing him again has definitely ignited alot of stuff for me, I am now getting hurt in my sleep which isn't pleasant.

Apparently my OH says I am screaming alot when in a deep sleep, he gently wakes me when I am doing that as I am dripping in sweat and really distressed, then I settle and go back to sleep , its only a couple of hours I am getting a night, so its leaving me totally exhausted during the day.

I have problems like this. My brother and I shared a room for awhile and he says I cry and claw at the walls in my sleep. I have claw marks on my walls that I need to paint now. I also kicked a hole in the wall in my sleep. I feel exhausted all day long as well.

I have recently started experiencing horrible nightmares, also. I just started back on Fluoxetine and it seems as though that made the nightmares much much worse. It is an awful experience to wake up and your OH is just as scared as you are because he has no idea what it wrong with you. Makes me want to sleep on the couch =[
