I'm livid that this is being used as a lever for politics and point scoring between the BBC and the Conservative party.
It's more comfortable for everyone to focus on the familiar power struggles than to look straight at the pain inflicted on so many individuals.
Even the issue of justice seems to me less important than the ongoing need to provide support to the victims. If any political issue should be brought to the fore by this, it's the appalling state of NHS Mental Health provision
