Do you mean an outside burden, or inside burden... Like... Do you visualize it as a burden that you are carrrying on your, or as one that is a part of you, like, grown out of you or something

I think I mean both, it's like a physical burden, that weighs me down, and a mental burden that's within you all the time, no matter how much you try to forget about it, it's always there, with you.

I guess it's a thing with you that have been dealing with it for longer, that you sort of no longer see it as that much of a disorder and chaos thing, but instead as a thing to deal with?

How do you classify what you are going through?

Is your PTSD an Illness, a Disorder, a Syndrome, an Injur...

Its a response to things that happened, not a chemical imbalance like bi-polar. There was an injury that lead to it, but I think PTSD is more of a reaction to the injury, like a scar. Treating the injury and dealing with the scar are different processes.

I can see it as an injury, as it is the result of an event or series of events that caused injury. I can see it as an illness as well, as it causes several forms of illness. I can also see it as a disorder or syndrome as it produces as common set of symptoms. It can cause physical problems and even be fatal if untreated. While it may not be the direct and inevitable course of ptsd, indirectly it can be a direct result of physical problems including changes to immune system that cause illness.
