Have you heard of the Myers Briggs personality type test?

In Australia it's been used for workplace conflict resolution.

It's incredibly accurate, and provides a common ground framework where individuals can begin to understand each other without emotional & social distraction.

It could be useful to roll it out at universities, to foster understanding and enhance group dynamics.

Yep. We used that one a couple years ago at school I was at. I am bad at names of things. I like that one best of all. The universities here in U. S. use it too.

and I did it again

I am sit having fits of anger and resentment about this - we have to do the final submission tomorrow.

Because I was pissed off at R for not doing her work I made a whole lot more work for myself and that was three hours of wasted work that I didn't need to do and if I had read the criteria better I would have noticed that and not done what I thought needed to be done!

The good thing is that I didn't lose my shit about it - so that is huge progress.

I have to see this woman tomorrow and it is concerning me a little bit - but I will do okay. I will do okay. I can just be "busy" and hell I have a lot due in this week.

Aww hun, sounds frustrating.

If you're an ESFP (which matches what ive observed in you), you tend to be impatient, but considering the assignment is due tomorrow, that seems fairly reasonable! :hilarious:

Maybe when you get these group assignments, (you'll hate me for saying this!) you could try doing an overview, a plan of exactly what you're going to do, right from the outset. When youre most clearheaded and unimpeded by emotions :geek:

I want to be assertive but not do my block. I don't think I can be assert without doing my block (I just go into thought cascades) so I will just avoid for a week when I am not in so much physical pain and so overwhelmed at times - though overall I am doing better.

I have given this woman way too much brain space already.

I submitted the work tonight to get it out of the way. I may have submitted the wrong file format. But anyway it is done. So I sent the correct file format to my lecturer.

So time to move onto the new assessment piece - which is also due tomorrow.
