It really is worthwhile for people who live with fluctuating blood sugar levels to check out the hypoglycemia association website.
Glycerin is very helpful in feeding the brain a "sugar" hit. There is a hypoglycemic diet that did stabilise me years ago, but then I got caught up in my traumas past and present and "forgot" about it. Now I am back to where I was 14 years ago, except I am no longer dependent upon alcohol -
BTW the nutritional medicine view is that ALL addictions have underlying untreated hypoglycemia as the root cause.
