I know this is a serious forum, and we deal with some heavy subjects, but I also like fun subjects. I enjoy college football, and I am a life-long Auburn Fan. All I can say about the victory today is sometimes you have to be good, and sometimes you have to be lucky, and then on a day like today you have to be good, and lucky. Wareagle!

I love the pagentry and the traditions of college football. Also, I know that many of the college players will not make it to the next level, and they are playing for the love of the game.
I guess another part is; I grew up in a state, Alabama, that does not have an NFL team, but the have a couple of great college teams, so I follow college ball. I am a Cowboys fan though, hum maybe that's why I getting some cowboy boots:)

Can't say I like Auburn or Bama ;) but at least you're in the right conference. SEC, baby!!! Of course my team is having a HORRIBLE season, but I love them anyway. We'll bounce back next year. Go Gators!!

@jd990 are you ready for the iron bowl of the ages? it should be a good game. @catjudo chomp chomp yeah the gators will be back, about the time they start playing Auburn again.

And I agree that college sports are the best. NFL is all about the $$$. NCAA is about the love of the game! I'd also rather watch college basketball than NBA...I love March Madness!! (But we're from the south so obviously football comes in slightly ahead of basketball.)

@catjudo yep in the south football is the next largest religion. If they were not so big you would see football stadiums kitty-korner to the churches on every block:)
