I did not introduce myself properly to you all and I did not follow the rules. After watching the moderators' video, I understand the need to introduce myself correctly with the cause of my trauma in the title so that I can connect with others who have similar circumstance.
As I also have a history of sexual abuse and a disconnected relationship with my mother, I believe these aspects have added to the difficulties.
My daughter has rejected me due to my inability to cope.
I believe this is the start of getting better. I have devoured each post on this forum and have found comfort and hope. Tomorrow I see a new Therapist with the view to starting EMDR, which I knew nothing about until I found this website.
