I Apologize For Stepping In When I Should Not Have.

Just a note to acknowledge my error, which led to kind of a mess. I was triggered by someone else's pain, and lost sight of what 'area' I was in. I think of myself as respectful, but I guess my view of myself is obscurred (sp?) somewhat.

I apologize to anyone who's post I 'stepped into', and will from now on be more aware of how my words affect others. My intent was NEVER to discourage or disrespect this Forum and it's administrators.

I watched 'the mess' unfold, and am saddened by the way it turned out. But I would suggest you draw a line under it and move on.

I personally know you, AKJ, to be a good, caring, respectful, and supportive person. And I think we could all learn many good things by following your internal drive and determination to do good in the world and on here on this site.

Like, there is a HUGE difference between "supporting/empathizing with the pain/distress of another (whether rational or justified pain/distress or not)" and "taking another's side". And I do not believe that such support is in any way passive aggressive or in any way merits an apology of any kind.

Just my opinion!
