My mom has been seeing this counselor for about 2 years, the last 2 months my mom has been saying what I believe to be crazy things.
Her counselor told her she is a profit (that God chose her before she was born)
She is saying her and the counselor removed a demon from her body in one of her sessions.
The lord talks to her and sends her visions.
Her visions come in her left eye and a white ring of light appears with dove wings.
The counselor is telling her that the lord will be using her to fight demons here in earth.
My mom is now having visions that she was rapped as a child by her father and had a vision that I was as well too. My mother has now went file charges against my grandfather bc of her vision.
Her and the counselor do attend church together and went have an outing this last weekend bc she is now done with her treatment.
Is this normal for a counselor to tell someone or make them believe all these things. I need help!!

No, @Nikkolette - that doesn't sound typical; however, it also sounds like a faith-based therapy, and attributing problems to the devil/demons can be common in some of those circles.

Does your mom have any specific mental health diagnosis? Is this the first counselor she's ever seen?

(I've moved your post into our supporter's section, for a better fit.)

I went to 4 horrible free counselors that were affliated with a church. All did major damage and all did this as well. Push their beliefs onto me. Also, years previous I lived with a youth pastor who did the same thing. All were fundlementalists in their beliefs. My current therapist is a christian, but not a fundlementalist and we only talk about "god" and "god stuff" if I want to. He allows me to lead and never pushes anything on me. That is what I'd call the norm.

From what I have found anyway, many of those are either free or donations to the church type of thing. Rarely any insurence is involved.

Have you spoken to her about it?

The counselor is insurance based, and she is supposed to be a Christian counselor. My mom sees her 2 twice a week for 2 hr sessions.
I have talked to my mom about and she tells me she is disappointed that I am not a believer. My moms and I relationship is now ruined because of all this.
I thought about trying to report her counselor, but I didn’t know if I even had grounds to report her.

She started therapy because of her depression, which can from my parents loosing everything and having to start over when the oil field crashed.
She was on depression and anxiety meds but eventually stopped taking them bc she gained weight.
She was never actually diagnosed with a mental illness, but she also was never like this. This counselor is supposed to be Christian based and they attend a Christian church.
About 5 years ago she seen a counselor for a very short time and stop seeing him, she also did the same with her counselor now but eventually went back.
I wanted to report her counselor but I don’t know if I have the grounds to that, she has ruined my mother and I’s relationship and not to mention she has at least in my eyes “brainwashed” her.

I have been to Christian therapists and I have never heard of what you described. Do you know the denomination your mother practices?

@Nikkolette From my experience, this sounds cult-like. Yeah, be careful.....stay connected with your mother if possible, and leave the door open......I'm so sorry you are going through this.

So sorry... Its sounds from own experience like a cult like brain washing activity. Very serious stuff. Im thinking, could you and see this person and confront with him/her her bad practice? False memories implanted, to tell her she has been chosen... No good.
