I have not felt si - accomplishment for me so far

I had a terrible reaction in therapy on Monday-and behaved poorly and said things I regret. Yet, the amazing thing is: I have not felt suicidal. This is actually something I am happy about and marveling over. I have to give some credit to my therapist for remaining calm and not kicking me out... for telling me to not make any decision in an altered state. Still, in the altered state and coming out of it since I have not felt hopeless or tormented! I really hope this continues. !

I hope so too :) - it’s really a great thing when you can notice that you lived with some really heavy feelings, and didn’t have them automatically lead to suicidal thinking.

I think it’s especially important because now you have a touchstone experience, you know that it’s possible to not have those suicidal thoughts.

It gives you something solid to build on.
