In the meantime, he told me he was planning on asking me to marry him on New Years Eve, but fell asleep. Also that a few nights ago he was planning the same, but chickened out. No way! That will not happen.

Sheesh. So glad you're not buying in to this... He reminds me of the Prince in the Paper Bag Princess--and SHE ultimately ends up rescuing herself just as you are and tells him to get lost at the end when he decides he wants her again just as she figures out she doesn't need a Prince like that, anyway!:tup:
