Tractors are cool :) And really common here. Are there any races you plan to participate? Tractor soil-till-offs. Whop can till the soil faster sort of stuff :P

You crack me up sometimes @Salben! Your faith in my tractor driving abilities is very sweet. I was quite adventurous today, and I did okay I did work out which way to lean and how to do the long grasses. I stalled it a couple of times. I am still on my L plates, so to speak.

I have driven a few John Deere Tractors in my day to hang out with the men folk and help in the crops. My favorite attachment was used to bush hog. I felt empowered most of the time, until I became stuck in the mud and the guys had to get a bigger tractor to pull my sorry arsh out of the muck. :O_o: I was quite literally the butt of jokes for all season. Living on flat land by the swamp had less hills but a few draw backs.

But my favorite story is my old timer friend who got a ticket for drunk driving on his tractor as he went from one piece of his land to his adjoining property (and popped out for a moment on the connecting public road to do so). The town's robust Sheriff needed to generate a little cash for the town and sat undercover in the bush waiting.:roflmao: My friend was livid and said he wasn't voting for ___again.:laugh: Good times with 'them there tractors'!
