I'm having a really difficult time being alone, right now.

Every time I start to fall asleep tonight I get dizzy, and either start dreaming sounds or hallucinating them. Shouting. Radios. Stop it.

I miss having someone in bed with me. The heavy weight, the smell of their skin, the sound of their heart beating, the rise and fall of their breathing, stubble to rub my face into. Hell, even snoring and grumbling and nightmares. Just. Life. And strength. And security. Sounds and scents and textures to fall into.

If this is the right decision for you now, then you will adapt to being alone, but this may only be for a season. It does not mean you will be forever alone, so look at the reasons you decided to be alone, and focus on the positives you are gaining from singleness, instead of the negatives.
Again this may only be for a season, and seasons do change, so be open to new possibilities.

I understand where you're coming from. I often feel the same about being alone. But what gets me through is remembering that it IS a choice. I could theoretically find someone to share my bed with somewhat easily. For me at least, I'm waiting for something more important.
