I Wish My Therapist Weren't So Overbooked

Really tense session last week. A lot to deal with and I have been reeling from the thoughts all week.

Problem is I don't have an booked appointment till 29th although I was put on the cancellation list for this week and next.

Obviously this week's appointment is not going to happen and I don't know what is going to happen about next week. Just don't think it is fair to have to deal with this over such a long period of time.

Just thinking about how long I have to wait is getting me really down.

This is just me ranting but it is better than lying in bed crying.
 
Hi Lizio,

I just wondered if you've tried to make any sense out of all those reeling thoughts. I find that writing things down can really help to clarify the jumble of thoughts. You could try writing a journal here (trauma diaries), or just writing by hand on paper or a journal. Just imagine that you are writing everything down so that some else can read it and understand it (even if it's never going to be read by anyone else). It really helps to focus the mind on what is important, why some things are hard to talk about, and how you are feeling about things ....

It's just an idea which might help you get through the next week or so until your next T session.
