I'd rather be here than crossing things off my to-do list, which is really what I should be doing...I think I just need to give myself permission to take a day off to just focus on healing

I'd rather be here, than in a strange country and not knowing the language.

Yet, I will be learning to speak in one of Philippine languages if all goes as planned. My children's father immigrated from Greece, and I taught him English. It takes a lot of courage, and the willingness to try, even when you mess up and laughed at. If I visit, it will be around Feb-May-ish. Just fun to imagine. Me, in such a beautiful place. Wow!

The holidays are coming up and all I can think is how: I would rather be here with my boys than anywhere else!!
